Worked great, thanks!
Only one program (WaveAgent) doesn't want to start up any more. When I open a second account and reinstall, it works fine.
Seems to be a permission problem.
Permission-repair already done - no success.
Any idea here?

Yes, you can reinstall snow leopard with your disk and iLife will still be there, however, I would wait and upgrade to Apple's newest OS named Lion. It should be available from Apple very soon. To upgrade to Lion, you will first need to make sure you have updated Snow Leopard to the latest version. Then you will need to launch the App Store, which is where you will find the new Lion OS. To do a clean install of Lion you will have to burn the OS onto a DVD or thumb drive. I will most likely be doing a blog post on that topic once Lion has been released to the general public.

Question - since superduper is creating an image of the original HD ... can Migration Asst be used on the newly installed 10.6 computer to migrate files over from the superduper backup?
